Listening to my conscience instead of my mind leads to a better way of life.
Life is a gift and I will treat it as such.
Nobody knows me better than me.
It is ok to cry on the shoulder of someone else.
Forgiving myself for my past allows me to free myself from my past.
My way is not always the right way and that I need to listen to other ideas.
Never knowing everything and always learning will take me further in life.

I only need to deal with one problem or issue at a time.
When I bury problems in my soul, they are buried alive and will always come back to hurt me.
I am equal to you, not better than you or worse than you, just equal.
Pride and ego are killers of the forward progression of life.
Fear is not real and will never hurt me.
Resentments are like burning myself alive and hoping the person I hold the resentment against chokes to death on my smoke.
Being happy or sad are choices and I “MUST” make them every morning and stick to them!
Only I can let something steal my peace, happiness and joy.
Giving someone a smile will brighten their day and can be replenished at any time.
I can never judge anyone because I do not know what it is like to be in their shoes.
Words are like weapons to some and can hurt very badly.
Nothing will ever change unless I start to change.
I do not have to speak, think, or act on negativity but instead, cast it away.
It is ok to be alone in my thoughts as long as the thoughts are of positive nature.
The seeds of kindness will grow wherever they are fertilized.
Never take anything for granted because it could be gone in an instant.
I live each and every day as if it were my last and treat everyone with the utmost respect, honor, and dignity.
Life is like a stain glass window, beautiful yet fragile. I have been through hell and made it out alive with the very knowledge that life can never be taken for granted and is truly the most precious thing I will ever own.
