This year we have had the pleasure of having Mr. Rich Barnes address the students of Carver Middle High school on two separate occasions. He spoke first with our middle school students grades 6-8 in the fall and then we gladly welcomed him back most recently to speak with our high school students grade 9-12. In both presentations, Mr. Barnes was well spoken with a clear message about substance abuse. Students were actively engaged throughout his presentation and really connected with his personal testimony leaving our students inspired and empowered. In fact, a number of our students contacted Mr. Barnes directly through his website to personally share the impact his story and presentation made on them and our school. We were also very impressed at Mr. Barnes ability to gear his delivery to the different age groups and still effectively share his message.
If given the opportunity, I would highly recommend having Rich Barnes speak to the students in your school or group.
