Mr. Barnes visited our school and spoke to over 250 7th and 8th grade students on the dangers of addiction. Our school is a very diverse school with a high percentage of economically disadvantaged students. His message resonated with every person in attendance. Multiple adults, including the President of our School Committee were impressed by his ability to connect with our children. I have already requested that Mr. Barnes return again in the near future. Our students need to hear this message from someone who has lived this life.
