.As the wind blows fierce through out the day,
and a leaf floats through the sky,

It thinks about it’s wonderful life on the tree,
and not that it’s going to die.
…
It thinks about the days that he hung on the tree,
and how it survived all the wind and the rain,

for this leaf was a fighter and enjoyed his short life,
despite all the hurt and the pain.

Despite his small size, he would never let go,
a strong leaf he would always admit.

“so bring on the gales” said he, with a deep hearty voice
I will hang in there and never quit!!

As he falls to the ground he looks up at that tree
and realizes how grateful he should be,

he hits the ground below and doesnt complain,
for he is one grateful leaf from the tree.

Be grateful for what you have in life and never complain about what you don’t have. I am sure we can all take lessons from this little leaf…..
