Testimonial: DARE to Dream Summer Day Program

I have been a DARE officer in the town of Norfolk for the past 30 years I had the opportunity just recently to view Rich Barnes at our DARE to Dream Summer Day Program. Rich has spoken for the last 10 years in our program. Rich’s presentation was very powerful and carried a strong message throughout. He spoke about his addiction which deterred many years of his life. One of the messages that came through loud and clear is the consequences that come with the lifestyle that he was leading. Rich is very captivating and will answer any question that he is asked. He is very age appropriate as he spoke with our eighth graders to be. I truly believe that Rich would be an outstanding resource at the high school level. After our most recent presentation he received a tremendous ovation from our participants. He will also make time and help students that our going through a substance abuse problem after his performance. We were very fortunate to hear Rich’s message and look forward having him back with us in the future! I would highly recommend Rich speaking at your middle or high school. Book it!
