To Whom It May Concern:

For the last twenty two years I have had the opportunity of running the DARE to Dream Summer Day Program in the communities of Wrentham, Plainville, and Norfolk. The program is designed to include alternative activities to reinforce teh concept that we can all have fun while staying drug free. Some activities include safety workshops, D.A.R.E (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) lessons on Alternatives and Building Self Esteem.

We had the opportunity in our grade eight program to have Rich Barnes, a recovering addict, speak to our students on his personal struggles with drugs and alcohol. Mr. Barnes presentation was captivating to our students on so many levels. Rich spoke about this drug use and abuse and eventually recovery. I truly admired the message tha twas delivered. her stressed how important it is to make good choices and decision in your life an to pursue help when needed. One thing that really stood out to me in hi presentation is he would reconnect back to his message of making good choices and decisions while he was growing up. All in all just a solid presentation for middle school age students.

I have had the opportunity of hearing Rich speak at the high school level and middle school levels and would highly recommend Rich for any presentations that involve drug use and making positive decisions and choices in your life. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at (508) 541-3330.

Sincerely,
