This is a letter of recommendation for Rich Barnes, a motivational speaker who visited our school on October 2, 2014.
Mr. Barnes arrived promptly and spoke to, and with, our students for approximately one hour on the topic of alcohol and drug abuse. He spoke at length about his own struggle with the disease of addiction, using his personal story of recovery to illustrate the dangers of drug use in a meaningful and engaging way. Our students found his story interesting and were very comfortable asking Mr. Barnes about his experiences, and he patiently answered their questions.
I would definitely recommend Mr. Barnes as a visitor to any school on this topic.
