It is where hate is replaced with love.
It is where resentments are cast away by forgiveness.
It is where insanity is turned into serenity….
It is where fear is turned into faith.
It is where uncertainty is erased by certainty.
It is where self hate is turned into a quiet confidence.
It is where manipulation is turned into compassion.
It is where the darkness is overshadowed by the beautiful light of freedom.
It is where selfishness turns to generosity, pride and ego turn to humility, and thoughtlessness turns into thoughtfulness.
It is where the dreary end meets a beautiful new beginning.
It is where your life takes on a whole new meaning and your purpose will soon be revealed.
It is where the hiding, the isolation, the paranoia, the lieing, the cheating, and the stealing, stop and desist.
Basically, sobriety will open up new doorways filled with vibrant colors, and close the doorways that have only provided you years of darkness. I can only speak from my experiences and what sobriety has so graciously afforded me…
If you are shooting dope, smoking crack, snorting lines, popping pills, or drinking way too much, there is help out there but it will not find you or chase you, you need to find it and chase it.
