I remember years ago, I took life for granted. I never gave thanks for anything and always wanted more of what I had. Selfishness and self-centeredness ruled my every thought, every decision, and every choice I had and had not a care in the world for anyone or anything.
Today is different. I can see how precious, yet fragile, life truly is. I share my life, and the experiences I have been through, in hopes that someone else who thought the way I previously thought, will indeed change their perspective as well…
We only have one life to live and we do not get a second chance once we are gone, so today I ask of you, go out and enjoy it. Live your life with gusto and enthusiasm and always pursue your dreams and ambitions, never ever relinquishing your forward progress to fears or doubts. Smile more, laugh more, share more, love more, and let every single problem you encounter throughout the day, go away with the sunset. When you wake in the morning, never let a newspaper or a news cast or the weather outside decide your demeanor of the day, but instead, hop out of bed and declare that no person, place, or thing will steal your inner peace or joy. Break down the walls that have been pinning you into isolation, cut the chains that have been holding you back from accomplishing more, becoming more, and having more.
We have the ability, which some people do not yet understand, to choose happiness over any other emotion. I live in happiness every day and in fact, it is the air that I breathe. Without it in my life, I would not be able to be where I am in life and would surely regress, thus losing everything I have obtained because of it. I ask of you to do the same……
Life is so short, so be grateful for every breathe you take and realize that it can be gone in an instant…
