I am no longer afraid of the person I once was because the person I became is so much stronger. He doesn’t run from problems, divert them, hide them, or sweep them under the rug but instead, handles them head on with the feelings of others in mind. He loves instead of hates, forgives instead of resents, helps instead of hurts, and gives instead of takes. Today, he is no longer active in his addict…ions where that addiction is the sole creator of selfish behaviors, arrogance, and the portrayal of an egotistical attitude towards others, but instead, he is active in his recovery where he can pass along all that he knows and all that he has done in those addictions in hopes of the betterment of one’s life who is still sick and suffering..
Today, life is pleasant and not painful, better and not bitter, joyous and not joyless. Life has always been, is, and will always be what you make of it and today, always choose the high road over other people’s bad behaviors and never skim the surface of life, dive right in!!!!!
